This week my owner and I went to the Buda Public Library to give a presentation on capybaras. She had some slides of wild capybaras that she took in Venezuela and I had me. We actually make a pretty good team although, to be honest, I think I could carry the whole show by myself.

ブダ図書館にて、メラニーと 今週は、メラニーと一緒に、カピバラについてのお話をするためにブダ公立図書館に行ったんだ。メラニーは、ベネズエラでとった野生のカピバラのスライドをもっていったし、僕は僕自身がいったってわけ。僕たちはいいチームプレイをしたとは思うんだけど、僕だけでも十分だったとおもうんだよ。

誕生日の贈り物をもらって こんなこといってなんだけど、今年の誕生日はちょっとおそまつだったなあ。 去年は、公園で盛大なお祝いをしたんだけどね・・・・。皆来てくれて、僕はブルーベリーケーキとヨーグルトをどっさりもらってね。今年は、メラニーったら、一緒にお祝いしようなんてかんがえてもみなかったみたい。

I don’t want to sound bitter but, well, this birthday was a big letdown. I mean, last year I had a major party in the park. Tons of people visited me. I had a blueberry cake and lots of yogurt. This year my owner didn’t even bother to stay home and celebrate with me.

座ってる僕 メラニーが7月3日から16日まで休暇旅行に行くんだ。それで僕は落ち込んでて、しばらくブログも書けないと思うんだ。だって、10日は僕の3回目の誕生日なのに、メラニーはそんなことおかまいなしだもん。 「すてきなカプリン・ローズ」のトップに、お座りバージョンの僕があるけど、それはたぶん、上の写真と、エーリアンのお絵かきの合成で、20ｃｍｘ20ｃｍの大きさなんだけど、これを15ドルで売ろうと思ってるんだ。売り上げがトントンになるには200枚くらい売らなきゃいけないんだけど、大丈夫かなあって。それで、この値段で、この写真か他の写真を買いたいと思うかどうか、コメントをもらえると嬉しいな。 みん
