My pond is one of the most important things in my life. But it didn’t start out being mine. First it was Caplin’s pond, and then Garibaldi’s, and now, finally, I have inherited it. Am I taking good care of this historic treasure? You be the judge.

Losing a pet is always difficult. Losing a capybara is devastating, especially one as sweet and loving as Chico Wren. At three years old, Chico had already captured the hearts of people around the world.

There’s something you should know about capybaras; we like three things. Those three things are: eating, sleeping, and swimming. I put them in the order of how much I like them, not how much time I spend doing them. Sleeping is my most time consuming activity, or lack thereof.

These are some of my baby chickens. I got them back in October but I didn’t get around to blogging about them. They don’t look like this anymore. They’re still cute, but different…and much bigger!
