Thanks to everyone for all the great entries in my contest! So many of you really seem to have an inner capybara.

I don’t like to brag but sometimes I just have to. You remember when I posted about being filmed for a top-secret project? Well, the time has come to reveal the secret to the whole world. I am going to be on TLC’s “My Crazy Obsession” on March 28 at 10:30 pm, 9:30 Central.

Melly set aside a big chunk of today for building a special home for my new chickens. Their home is called a coop and when you put them in it, they are all cooped up. The coop came in a big box from www.MyPetChicken.com, which is almost as cute a web address at www.GiantHamster.com!

Have you ever had a birthday where you got a present that was so unexpected and so confusing that you just didn’t know what to do? That’s what happened to me. Last Sunday was my very, very, super special second birthday and instead of getting corn, I got chickens!

Just read an interesting blog post about a person who got to meet a “wild” capybara in Venezuela. Here is the link. There are some excellent photos and a cute video. The capy is just a baby, I’d say 2 – 3 months old and maybe 20 lbs. Y’all should go check it out.

Okay, I can’t reveal too much but I have been given clearance to tell y’all that I spent two days filming for a TV show. I can’t mention the name of the show or the channel until later but I can talk a little bit about what happened.
